May is National Teen Pregnancy Prevention Month!

Support Girl Talk, Inc. as we work to reach our fundraising goal of $5,000 by May 31st!

Girl Talk, Inc. needs your help to further our mission of empowering girls in our community to become their best selves by reducing the likelihood of teen pregnancy and helping them to advance educationally. The teen birth rate in Tennessee declined 66% between 1991 and 2018. Even so, in 2018 there were 5,258 births to teens. Most teen births in Tennessee (76%) are to older teens (age 18-19). It is also the case that 16% of all teen births were to teens who already had a child. The public savings in 2015 due to declines in the teen birth rate totaled $131 million. Teen birth rates have fallen for all racial and ethnic groups, and in some cases the gap in teen birth rates by race/ethnicity has narrowed, but disparities remain.

Join us as we campaign during National Teen Pregnancy Prevention month to raise awareness and funds to support our mission. Our fundraising goal is $5,000. DONATE TODAY! Every little bit helps!

As a part of this fundraising campaign, we have built in unique giving incentives to recognize all of our donors. Check out the incentives list above, and don't miss your opportunity to join the Girl Talk Building Futures Society!
